Dial One Security

Dial One Security is proud to once again participate in Streetfest. It is always a day of fun, food and friendship. The event is made possible through the participation of local businesses, churches and community leaders. Some of the local churches participating this year are Armstrong Chapel United Methodist Church, New City Presbyterian Church, St. Anthony Church and St. Paul Lutheran Church. Dial One Security is a sponsor of this event which not only provides live music and free food for everyone, but also provides games and backpacks full of school supplies for the children. Each year the streets in the heart of the community near the intersection of Madison Rd & Whetsel Ave. are closed down to provide a perfect venue for the day’s activities. Last year’s event distributed over 300 backpacks to the children.

The highlights of this year’s StreetFest is a custom car show and a “Bike Rodeo”. The Cincinnati Fire Department will have their smoke house to demonstrate the life safety skills of getting out of a burning house. This is a great opportunity to meet the Cincinnati Police Officers that serve the community and see some of the unique tools they use to fight crime. At last year’s event the police officers demonstrated their Segways that are used in the downtown area as well as the tools used by the SWAT team.  This is a great chance for the community to interact with the police and fire department while learning some life saving skills. Local churches provide volunteers and supplies for the game booths, like ring toss and face painting, which are always a hit with the children.

Dial One Security takes an active role in making the community of Madisonville a better place for all to live and work and StreetFest is one of the great events that we support throughout the year.
