Security Systems
Protect What Matters
There’s a security system for every lifestyle, budget and need. And they do more than keep you and your family safe and secure … they give you peace of mind and can even keep you connected to your home wherever you are. Our products are easy enough for every member of the family to operate, providing a level of simplicity and convenience you’ll really appreciate.
Keypads and Control Panels
Over the years the keypad has been the main method for controlling your alarm panel located in a different location in the building. Today’s new wireless control panels are much more sophisticated and incorporate both the keypad and alarm panel into one device as well as home automation and video from security cameras. The keypads and control panels allow different users to access the system with they own code so that a record of when and by whom the alarm system was armed or disarmed. With Total Connect, you can have the keypad functionality in the palm of your hand on your smartphone tablet or PC.
Bluetooth & Key Fobs
Bluetooth disarming allows your phone to dis-arm your alarm when you arrive home. Simply walk in and your system knows you’re home and disarms the system for you.
A key fob is a keyless entry device, that allows you to arm or dis-arm your security system with the touch of a button. The four button keyfob is easily added to your security system and can be used to also arm the system in the stay mode from inside of your home or as a panic button.
Asset Protection
Dial One Security offers Asset Protection Devices that can be placed on or within valuable items such as jewelry boxes, artwork, electronics or gun cabinets to protect those items from being removed or tampered with. These devices can be active 24 hours a day and operate on a separate partition on the security system, independently of the interior or perimeter security. This provides protection of those valuable items when guests are in the house and have access to areas were valuables are kept. A gun cabinet or liquor cabinet may need to be monitored to protect children in the house. Instances like this can be set up so that instead of calling the police, an email or text message is sent to you.
AC Unit Protection
There are many solutions out there today for securing outdoor Air Conditioning units from being stolen for their copper. These include installing pressure switches on the coolant lines, switches on the units, and lacing the units with a security wire, but they all have the draw back that detection does not occur until damage is already done. Dial One Security analyzed this problem and decided the most practical solution for protecting the units, before the damage was done, is to install an omni-directional tilt switch that is monitored 24 hrs a day on the side of the unit so that any movement of the unit will trigger the alarm. The tilt switch is used in combination with a sounding device that will draw attention to the property and ideally scare off the thieves before they are able to remove the unit. As an added deterrent, we install warning tags on the electrical disconnect panel of the unit to notify any potential thieves and the HVAC repairman, that the unit is connected to a monitored alarm system.
24 Hour Monitoring
You and your family can enjoy peace of mind 24 hours a day, seven days a week by having your security system monitored by a central station. These highly trained home security professionals are always standing by, ready to send help to your home in the event of a burglary, fire, carbon monoxide event or other emergency.
Indoor / Outdoor Sensors
State-of-the-art sensors detect movement indoors and outdoors, listen for the sound of breaking glass to guard against intruders, protect valuables and more. They enhance the effectiveness of your security system and provide you with the complete, whole-house protection you need.
Magnetic Contacts
34% of burglars manage to get in through the front door and 22% come through the back door. To protect your doors, Dial One will probably use magnetic contacts. These devices are also a great choice for the windows in your house.
Motion Detectors
Motion Detectors detect movement in your home or business. What you may not know is that if you are an animal lover, it is still possible to include this product in your home. In fact, we offer motion detectors that can tell the difference between a crawling intruder and an animal that weighs up to 70lbs.
Glass Break Detectors
Glass break detectors detect the sound of breaking glass. Each unit has a limited range and for full coverage more than one unit may be required. We even offer glass break detectors that are directional which can be used in occupied spaces.
Environmental Sensors
Ideal for kitchens and bathrooms, laundry rooms and basements, these detectors can notify you when detecting floods, leaks and extreme temperatures—helping to minimize the risk of dangerous conditions and damages to your home and valuables.
Flood Detectors
Flood or moisture detectors can be added to low spots in a basement or in or near sump pumps. Some homes in the Cincinnati Area have sewer lift stations in the homes to pump sewage from a lower level to the height of the street sewer lines. Detecting early failure of sewer lift stations is critical. Dial One Security can provide these sensors.
Temperature Detectors
High and Low temperature Detectors can be installed to detect incorrect operation of virtually any heating or cooling system. Low temperature detectors can help prevent freezing pipes in the winter and high temperature detectors can detect cooler and freezer failures.
Carbon Monoxide Detectors
Carbon monoxide detectors can be added to a system. Every home should have Carbon Monoxide Detectors to detect a blockage or leak of a gas vent pipe from a furnace, water heater or other appliance in which combustion occurs.
