Dial One Security Gives Back to the Community

Dial One Security

The employees of Dial One Security gave back to the Madisonville community this past Saturday when ten of our employees volunteered their time during the Great American Cleanup. The Dial One Team branched out on its own to tackle three main projects in the community.

The first project was the cleanup of the traffic island along the Redbank Expressway. Three Dial One Security employees picked up and removed the accumulated trash and debris and then swept the island clean. This is part of our routine Adopt-a-Block program cleanup.

The second project that we tackled required all hands on deck as we cleaned up the gateway to Madisonville at the railroad underpass along Whetsel Ave. Years of gravel and dirt had spilled down on the sidewalks from the railroad above and the Dial One Security employees shoveled 6 cubic yards of debris off of the sidewalk and hauled it away. Years of overgrown vegetation was also removed and the trash picked up to beautify this particular entrance to the community. We intend to put this on our yearly list of projects.

The third main area that was addressed was the lot at the corner of Madison and Whetsel, which is at the heart of the community. The overgrown grass was cut and the sidewalks cleaned in anticipation for a much bigger improvement of the lot coming up during the month of May.

It is often the small things that you do in the community that make a big difference in the civic pride and Dial One Security is always there to make a difference.
